PRICE, SECRETARY H.W. MONS, viCE PRESIDENT I L.E.MURPHY, ASST. TREASURER W. L. DITFURTH, TREASURER CHICAGO R.B. COLTER, SUPERINTENDENT September 25, 1941 AirMail Dr. Forrest C. Allen Director of Physical Education & Recreation University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Dr. Allen: You certainly are very kind in having a duplicate of my set of golf clubs sent to Mr. Wigglesworth, and I want you to know that both he and I appreciate it very much. I am glad that you did not order the golf balls, as he has plenty of them on hand. The small additional charge on account of federal tax is certainly entirely acceptable, and just as soon as I receive the invoice from you, Mr. Wigglesworth will mail you his check. The arch normalizer was received several days ago and I have been trying it a few mornings, but am going at it easily. I certainly fully intend to keep it, and had rather expected to be receiving an invoice from Mr. F. W. Lang, so that I could send him a check. If I understand correctly, the price is $10.00, and if that is correct, I will mail him my check and not wait for his invoice. You will be interested to know also that I immediately bought some Squibb's Glycolixir on my return to Chicago and keep a bottle at the office and one at home; after a few months, I am sure that my golf game and disposition will both be much improved. Referring further to the arch normalizer, I will let you know later how I am progressing. I have just been talking to Jane on the telephone, who sends her love to you and Mrs. Allen, and Jane said to tell you that you ought to see her long fingernails now. She said you would under- stand what she meant. With very kindest regards, I am Cordially yours, HWM*M Roy 0
