Dear Phi Delta Kappan:

Kappa Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa will hold the
annual fall initiation on Monday, December 15, in the Memo-~
rial/Union Building. The initiation will begin promptly
at 4:30 p. m.

The dinner will be held in the Kansas Room of the
Union Building at 6 p. m. The charge for the dinner will be
55¢, plus 1f state tax. Tickets must be purchased or reser-—
vations made not later than Friday, December 19. Tickets
may be secured from Kenneth Franks, Oliver Hobbs, Laiten

Camien, or Russell Mosser.

The speaker following the dinner will be Dr. G.
Dewey Smith, Head of the Department of Visiting Teacher and
School Census, Board of Education, Kansas City, Missouri.
Dr. Smith will discuss the work of the visiting teacher.

The success of this meeting depends on your par-
ticipation and the executive committee hopes that every mem—
ber can arrange to attend.
