Leon Tate and the Secretary have been helping him in examinations the past three weeks and we marvel at the way that chap keeps things going. . = In the mail: A letter from Charles Nelson Jensen who is now at 3625 Hall street, Dallas, Texas. Although he hasn!t been back for several years, Jenson still keeps his membership in the Post and Last Man's Clube .«. « « From Ross Anderson, new | Managing Secretary of the Pekin (Illinois) Association of Commerce comes a letter with his regards to the gang and he!s planning now to come back for the Last Man's party in November. He is ‘Keeping his membership in this Post and has joined the local Post in Pekin, * 3 Commander Manry kept plugging away until be secured some excellent rooms for the Missouri convention on the third floor of the Hotel Tiger. We expect to collect on each of these rooms at Executive meeting Wednesday night and at the regular August meeting Monday night. Bring along your money for the first night's cost if you expect to get a room. Bs It's vacation time —- Already Clyde Morris has been to Canada; Blattler is getting ready for another Colorado trip; the Secretary leaves Thursday with the Choral Club's accompanist for a hay fever haven in Michigan; Abba Morse is in Colorado; the C.R.Andersons are back from Minnesota and we suppose a lot of other Post lads are running around the country seeking a change in climate and better fishing. & Last Chance before conventions: We'll have a few legion caps at the Executive meeting Wednesday night.
