I am sled that you plan to go to school next summer to
work on your Masters. I think you ere very wise. The sooner that you
get a Masters Degree the more rapid will be the advancement.

Poth of them are here in this Summer Session and both of them are playing
in our beseball league, ‘They are having a lot of fun and there is real
genuine good fellowship existing among the players. When you have young |
men with executive and teaching ability whe can still pley and laugh as they
go through life, then I say that you're destined to heve a fine experience
in working in the same school with these mon.

Yes, I would heartily agroe thet taking a year's leave of
absence during the year 1943and 1944, would be a much better plan than
atruggling through a greet many Sumer Sessions.

i'm referring your letter to Dector Elbel, who will study
your problem and A write you a letter in a very short while. I'm 3
delegating to him this type of work for all our students. He will evaluate
your work end find out from Dean Stouffer (who incidentally happens to be |
off on a short vacation now) just whether these five hours oan be transferred.
I will askwhet Dr. 2)bel study your transcript and write you at a very early

Thanks for your good wishes to the family. Mrs. Allen left
teday on the Sente Fe Streamliner for Chicato where she will visit with Jane
who is'doing art work in Chicago. Jene expects to be married here st home
September 6th and it is in connection with the “step off" of this young
ledy that she is making this trip. The young mam in question is Elwood Mons,
