The Beta Sigma Phi'ts, a wements proSessional and study club of
Lawrence, Kansas, is sponsoring the "Some Town Minstrels" on March 13 and
14 at the Jayhawker Theater, The time is 8:15 P.M, and the Grand Finale
takes place at 10:30 P.M. The Hill will be placarded for this worthwhile
evente

The entire net proceeds of these two splendid attractions will
be used to benefit the local crippled children's fund. All first floor seats
at the Jayhawker Theater are 757, as are the scats in the center balcony.
The side balcony seats sell for 50¢,. |

 

The writer has been asked to serve as chairman of the ticket
sales committee at the University among the University faculty. It has been
further asked that we give Mrs. Irma Anderson, the chairman of the ticket
sales committee, an approximate idea of the number of tickets that we will
need on Mount Oreade

To expedite matters this letter is being sent you apprising you of
this splendid attraction, and it would be much appreciated if you would phone
our office, KeUe 85, and notify Miss Lauretta Gerstenberger as to the number
of tickets that you will desire. She will in turn notify Mrs, Anderson. It
will be necessary for you to reserve your own seatse

There is an excellent chorus of 40 men in this cast and every report
regarding their performance is not only flattering but positively ear-tingling.
When 40 of the best male voices get together it should be a sight for sore eyes
and a tonic for the tympanic membrane. You will more than get your money 's
worth and you will do a good deed for handicapped voungsters.
