Boy, you are @ regular guye I had no idea that you would
take it that I was reflecting on you in person either in toto or partially.

It never should have been your job in the first plece, in any
way, shape or forme The only idea thet I hed from your attending the
conference was that we wanted your company to do the printing because
then we would be assured of a prompt and efficient jobe

I wanted to make it plain that we were not trying to dictate |

Finally, Pat, I want to say that I have always liked and
admired you very muche You have been one of the squarest shooters
that I have dealt with. You have the nerve to tell a guy just what you
think end where he can get off, and if you like a fellow you let him
know it, and if you do not like him you let him know it. Thet is the
reason I value your friendship so highly. If I have
ieast bit I want you to know that I would not do it for anything. I
want you to still be my friend and I want to be yours. .
