Most of my summer has been spent on the farm doing physical labor, which should stimulate my mental ability this coming winter. I wish to thank you again for the many things you have done for mee I am especially indebted to you for, without the employment you have given me, it would be impossible for me to attend _ school this year. Dear Sir: I applied for an N.Y.A. job again this year to help with my expenses, but I received word the other day that I would not get a job again. Since it is necessary that I earn some money, while going to school, to pay some of my expenses, I wonder if you can help me get a job of some sort. I have been working at Morrell Packing Company this summer doing drafting and office work. I've been keeping myself in condition by playing tennis and softball. I'will appreciate any help you can give me. Sincerely your, Led Broo’ v ULE y a ea ae Saree 2 Pn Sar | \ ss 4 iw Biss fa, a < < | Ped | ee ep Ne TAMPA, FLORIDA == Jd wv = A s ee = = = I= lle pos + O. Alien Robinson Gymnasium Campus Dear Dr. Allen: The matter of the picture to which you refer is one of the unfortunate results of my having a one-track mind. I seem to be unable to think of more than one thing at a time. Although there was not so much to do the past week, I was rushed to death getting ready for the two home games which came on the preceding weekends. The result was that putting in so much time on football, I never once thought of bask- etball. The possibility of ma picture of you being used in the football program failed to occur to me. In fact if you had not brought this up at this time, I would not have known that the old cut had been run. Sorry it happened but I just missed the boat on this one. Have sent the new cut on to Busby now, so it should be in the next Gridster, Best regards,
