Dear Dr. Allen:

I have been waiting for your basket ball season

to be over before writing you but since it has

been extended so many times I thought it best not
to wait any longer. Before telling you my purpose
in writing I want to congratulate you on the fine
showing your team is making and to wish you every
success in your game with Indiana on Saturday night.

I want to invite you to deliver the commencement
address before our Senior Class on Wednesday, May
eend. We will graduate a class of one hundred ten
seniors and we expect an audience of more than one
thougand persons. Our exercises start at eight o'-
clock and will be held in the auditorium of our
new high school building.

Please let me hear from you at once. I sincerely
hope you will be able to be with us. We have usually
paid a fee of twenty five dollars but will want to
make this satisfactory with you.
