WILLIAMS, MARTINDELL & CAREY ATTORNEYS AT LAW CHARLES M. WILLIAMS DONALD C. MARTINDELL We =. Vener SUITE 601 WOLCOTT BUILDING J. HUBERT ELSE TELEPHONE 2154 ei HUTCHINSON, KANSAS January 14, 1939 : 4 Mr. Forrest C. Allen Lawrence, Kansas Dear Friend "Fog? Justice Wedell and the writer have decided to take our wives to be svectators at the Kansas-Missouri basketball game on January 18, provided the weather is so Mrs, Martindell and I can drive to Topeka that afternoon. Our plans are to meet Judge Wedell in Topeka and to drive on over to Lawrence together for the game. Judge Wedell and the writer are "K" men and of course entitled to "K" ticket entrance. Will you be kind enough to advise me that you will have four reserved seat tickets held for us at the a gate until game time January 18? s The schedule which I received some time ago states on the back that all games start at 7:50 o'clock. Please inform me if this is correct and if the Mis- souri game will start at that time. JI would ask you to send the tickets to me except for the fact that the weather might be such that it would be too dan- gerous to make the trip and the tickets might be wasted if it was impossible for us to get there. As you will not receive this letter until Monday, I would appreciate it very much if you will give me a reply by return mail so that I may know Tuesday that the reserved seats have been taken care of. Hoping that we can see K U beat Missouri as of old and see you at the game, I am : D. C. MARTINDELL. DCM/t
