Dear 'Phog's:

I was afraid that the sample stocking I sent you
would be too bulky. Your idea sounds very good, so we
are making up a pair for you according to your specifications,
This durene jersey ribbing that we use for the stirrup is
very light when used single, in fact too light to use as a
cuff, so we will use it double and on one stocking will
put the elastick on the outside and on the other insert it
in them tubing. If it is put on the inside there is a chance
that it will catch the leg hairs and be uncomfortable. Will try
to get tiitse samples mailed out by the 19th,

At this time of the year we are exceptionally busy
with basketball clothing, as every outfit is different in
every detail.

We are making two outfits for your old star
Adolph Rupp, he has followea@ your example in dressing up
his team in classy style.

I have talked to Dana Morrison, President of
Bauer and Black Co. about the sweat sock that you were
telling me about. Dana says that they made this several
years ago , out the Sporting Goods Distributors discouraged
him in the idea by not selling or making an effort to sell
the stocking, so he discontinued making them. If you can
use at least 6 dozen of them he will make them up for you
and endeavor to again market them, He has lft it up to me
to determine the market for them, which I will endeavor to do.
