Miss Mary King Montgomery, a graduate student in
Physical Education at the University of Kentucky is
making a study of the place of music in the profes~
sional physical education curriculum.

Her study has been prompted by the fact that there
is a definite need for some fundamental knowledge
of music among the flajors in our field in order that
they may efficiently and successfully teach rhythm.
