UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI COLUMBIA DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION February 35,1938 Dr.Forrest C Allen Dept.of Physical Education University of Kansas © Lawerence,Kansas My dear Dr.Allen:- I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for the interview that you were so kind as to grent me on your recent visit to Columbia. I much prefer to think of it as a most pleasant visit and "get acquainted" talk. Whatever we may call it I do want you to know that I appreciated it and the opportunity of becoming acquainted with you. I always felt a little guilty on a visit to Cleveland when friends would say "you know Dr.Allen at Kensas of course". If at any time you hear of any schools or colleges that are planning an addition to their physical education staff or on adding physical education where it does not exist I will be very appreciative, for with a department as new as ours is here the better schools do not turn to us for men in this field,in a few years this will not be true for Dr.Hindman is really going to eventually going to have an outstanding physical education department here. Thanking you for your kindness and interest I am, Most sincerely yours, 817 Rollins i E AG. Columbia,Mo. Dept.of Physical Education University of Missouri Columbia,Missouri
