‘© My. Charles M. Blackmar, 906 Commerce Building, Kenses City, Mo. Dear Chuck: Thank you for your good letter of the S@th ultimo regarding possible jobs in the recreation department of the Park Board. I talked with some of the boys here and the only men that I lmew of who could qualify was Jack Ballard who lives in Kansas City. It happens he is a Sig Alph, and Frank Gage, the mayor's son, had already directed Jack to the proper sources. Unless a boy lives in Kansas City the position would not be available. And when the boys do live in Kansas City they generally get on to the ropes before we have an opportunity to advise them. you te know that I appreciate | I am always glad to hear from I am hoping to drop in to have that long-promised visit with you, and if you don't buy me @ iumch I will buy you one. Remembering our early days with much pleasure, and hoping to renew some of the reminiscences, I am Praternally yours, Director of Physical Education and Recreation, Varsity Basketball and Baseball Coach.
