HENRY FARIS, CLERK L. G. WILL, DIRECTOR ROBERT A. TODD, TREAS. MAYETTA, KANSAS DENISON, KANSAS HOLTON, KANSAS Denison Rural High School DISTRICT NO. 2 DENISON, KANSAS November 6, 1945 ir, F Mr. FF. G. Allen Director of Physical Sducation University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas ; =F, Dear Vr. Allen: I wish to zone our basket ball backboards for shooting practice and I have forgotten what you told us to use for marking the lines. Will you please inform me as to what paint or other material that is best to use in marking the backboards? Also, is it all right to leave the lines on the backboards for games with other schools, or should lines be removed before games? Mrs. McCoy-and I like it here in Denison very much. It is a pleasure to work in this new building and Gym. However, I hear that members of my old basket ball team down at Reading, Kansas are anxious to play us here at Denison, and I'm just a little afraid, Ha. Never-the-less, if they send me open dates I'll do my best to matsh them. Hope you are still in zood health and getting ready to give some of the other boys in the Big Six some trouble. TI have been looking for your schedule of home games in the Topeka Gapital but haven't seen it as yet. GQ Sincerely yours, 77) Mevoy, rin.
