MeRride: Dr. Allen gave me your letter and I shall attempt to answer | some of the questions about Kansas football next fall. ' fo begin with, we are planning to have football at the present ‘time, and the Chencellor wants football. Of sourse, we may have to wait end see just what the situation will be on our campus later in the summer as regards players and so forth. At present we have four letter- men on the campus: Kenneth Adams, quarterback, Card Hird, guard, Don | Johnson, tackle, and Jumius Penny, center. In addition, we have these me from last year's freshman numeral winners: Robert Tomlinson, guard, Kemy White, halfback, Dale Bush, halfback, Charles Keller, guard and tackle, Fred 'Numphrey, halfback, Bill Jameson, tackie, Warren Riegle, end, Thomas Warren, halfback, Joe Gray, end, Frank Pattee, halfback, Howard Bowman, halfback, and C. D.
