I was when Mr Roger Williams called and said that you had consented to |
becoming a Member of our Advisory Board. I am sure that your help and ~
interest will mean a lot in bringing about a more effeicient and effective
work of the Lawrence Salvation Army. a

No doubt that Mr Williams mentioned that we are having the
Annual meeting of the Advisory Board this Wednesday evening at the |
Colonial Tea Room, While I have said the time would be 6:15 P.M. I. am sure —
if you are their by 6:30 you won't. be late. If at all possible we would _
like Yrs Allen to come, as all the Wives of the Bosrd “embers attend the ©
Annual meeting. | ae

The out of town Guests are Brig. ahd Mrs DeBevoise of Kansas”
City, Mo. He has charge of the Salvation Army work for Kansas and Western —
Missouri, I am sure that you will enjoy meeting and hearing him speak. ~
