The Waldo Bowman's, the Dr. O'Der's as well Gevene Iandrith
and Mrs» Barl Gafford (nee Renkin) made quite a group for us, but they
treated the boys royally, even though they did take a licking and the —
boys seemed to have a tremendously good time at the dance. I know their
hearts were breaking at the licking they got but they were good sports.

_ I am sorry regarding the news from Albany on your application for
a certificate, What are you going to do about it? It seems a dirty shame
that an excellent teacher like you should be hamestringed on nothing but
technicalities. 7
