Dear Dr. Allen:- I thought I would wait a proper time until I got cooled down after the Lincoln game before I wrote you. I had the opportunity and asked four fans here to go with me to Lincoln for the Kansas-Nebraska gamm the other night and I want to say that it was a hair raiser in all its glory and the boys covered themselves with plenty of it especially Bob Allen, Kline and Engleman. I do want | to say the rooting and razgzing was the dirtiest I ever witnessed but I have read many timesof the Nebraska razzing but this was my first time to witness it first hand. I think the crowd wasa dirty, louzy, poor:losing bunch of sports and you can pass this along to Cy Sherman if you care to. He knows what I think of his football policy of hiring players and denying it. The boys in losing the two other games were still a good sporting bunch of ball players anyway. Sincerely,
