Shuffleboard

Pushers and discs may be either home-made or commercial products. This sport
is particularly adaptable if part of the playing space is concrete or if a level
concrete driveway can be found that is-not in use.

Target Darts

Darts may either be home-made or commercial products. There is some. chance
of accidents among target throwers and those standing near.

Strict rules must be made for the game and adult supervision must be in force
at all times. Participants should remain behind a given mark until all darts are
thrown. No player should stand directly behind the thrower. Targets may be
easily made on soft wood or plaster board, the inside circle being 2" on the same
plan and scored the same as is an archery target. If target darts are used
indoors, the target should be well surrounded by gymnasium mats.

Tenniquoits

This is a single or doubles game. It may be a popular tournament game even
where equipment is limited since a rope or heavy string may be used as a net and
a rope ring made to use in place of the regulation rubber ring. It is a good
game for intramural tournaments.

Tops

 

Three trials are allowed each contestant, the time of the spin is taken and
the owner of the top with the longest time of spinning is the winner. Few if any
points are awarded the winner of this contest since the degree of skill required
is not very great.
