Allen (2) decide to hold the Eastern play-off on the home floor of one of the teams selected for the play-off, but it seems to me we should set aside such objections as might come from such an action in our desire to put this - tournament on a paying basise After all, the advantage which the home team has in basketball isn't quite as great as it used to be, and in the face of the present situation I feel we must, at least for next year, overlook this home floor advantage. I hope you can see this point of view and go along with it because I certainly feel somewhat of a personal responsibility of trying in any way we can, legitimately, to wipe out the bad taste which the poor financial results of last year's tournament has left in the mouths of the N.C.A.A. Executive Committee. I am leaving for Wisconsin today and if you have any ideas about the tournament other than what we have talked about I would certainly be glad to hear from you. My address will be Camp Sarona, Sarona, Wisconsin. With best personal regards, I am, Very sincerely yours, He G Olsen HGO:dmf Basketball Coach
