Dear “Phog"s

I have been in correspondence with Floyd Rowe and have
found that you will have some free time on Tuesday, November 28.
Accordingly I am planning to come to Cleveland on the 28th. Saint
and I will leave here by car in the morning so as to arrive at
the Cleveland Athletic Club somewhere around 11:00 A.M. Floyd
tells me you would be free until about 5:50 P.M.

It strikes me this would be a fine opportunity for you,
Saint and myself to get down to brass tacks on this tournament
committee set-up. I would like very much to have Saint sit in
with us because of the fact that he was present atthe N.C.A.A.
executive committee meeting where the whole business was discussed
rather thoroughly last Summer. I hope this plan will meet with
your approval and that you will be able to give us a few hours
of your time. We could eat lunch together and then go on with
such discussion as we have and still not butt into your program
as you have arranged it originally with Floyd Rowe. I hope you
will come prepared with suggestions as to committee personnel,
etc., especially with respect to the Western set-up.

If any circumstance should arise which makes it impose
sible for you to meet us at 11:00 on November 28, please wire
me immediately, otherwise, we will plan to see you at that time.
