I am taking this opportunity of thanking you, 4s
one of the men who served on the National Collegiate Basket=
ball Tournament Committee, for your efforts in behalf of the
Tournament. I am sure that while this Tournament was not all
that we hoped it would be from the standpoint of attendance,
etc., we have made a fine start and I want you to know I
appreciate your good worke

I wonder if you would be kind enough to sit down
“and write to me on the basis of your experience on the Tourna~
‘ment Committee this year, giving any observations which you
may have for the “good of the order". Keeping in mind that
we must necessarily avoid any great amount of post-season
play in the conduct of our tournament, do you think of some
way in which it might be improved? I would greatly appre=
ciate any observations which you would care to make. Thanks
