Dear Doc:

So far as I know U.S.C. will accept the
N.C.A.A. bid. All the conversation and corres-
pondence that I have had with Bill Hunter has
been favorable. The matter is now before the
U.S.C. Board.

I was down to the Pacific Coast Conference
play-off and saw Bill Hunter then. He has since
wired me concerning arrangements. I feel that
U.S.C. will come but do not yet have official
word from them.
