Dear Dr. Allen:

Please find enclosed a statement of the expenses of our trip
to Kansas City to participate in the N.C.A.A. basketball
play-off.

I should like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on
the fine success of the Tournament and, while we are naturally
sorry that we could not have been a little more successful, at
the same time we congratulate you on your win over us.

May I ask whether there will be any pro rata distribution of
additional receipts to the institutions which participated in
the play-off. If so, if you know approximately the percentage
or in round figures the amount, I would appreciate the infor-
mation.
