Thanks very much for your letter of a few days ago. I appreciate
the nice things you saw fit to say about our team, and also want to
compliment you upon the fine spirit your boys showed when things
were going against them. It is this fine clean play when things

are breaking bad that makes a fellow proud of his boys.

Enclosed find bill from the New York Central system for railroad
tickets. Coach MeCracken and I have both approved this bill. As
I wrote you before, H. G. Olsen suggested to me that I have this
bill approved, as I have, and forward it to you for payment direct

to the railroad company.

When the hotel bill is received I will also have it approved by
Coach McCracken and forward it to you.
