INDIANA UNIVERSITY BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION FOR MEN April 9, 1940 Dr. F. C. Allen Director of Basketball University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Dr. Allen:- Thanks very much for the informationconeerning the film of our recent basketball game. It will be impossible for us to play you next year in. basketball. My schedule for the 1940-41 season is complete. I wish we could have gotten together a little sooner, because I think it would be a fine thing for basketball and a fine drawing card at both places. I hope that we will be able to get together in some later season, We enjoyed playing at Kansas City very much. There is no doubt put what it is the finest basketball city in the county. The Municipal Auditorium is one of the most beautiful places that a basketball game could be played on. You are to be congratulated upon the fine way you ran the tournaments off. Everything went along in fine shape and with a 10t of color. We could not have been treated nicer while staying in Kansas City. Sincerely yours, fii ha e. Branch McCracken Basketball Coach
