TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS Preliminaries: The preliminaries in all events, with the exaqeption of the high jump, pole vault, mile, two mile, and relay, will be held Friday, May 17th, at 2:30 P.M. Drawings for the preliminaries will be held Friday morning at 11:30 A.M. at a lunch for track coaches at the Lincoln Hotel. Finals: The finals will be held Saturday, May 18th, 2:00 P.M. with the exception of the pole vault and high jump, which will be started at 1:30 P.M. Drawings for the finels will be made immediately after dinner Friday evening at the Student Uricn, BIG SIX GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS The Golf Cuampionships will be on the course of the Lincoln Country Club, Seturday, Mey 18th, 9:00 A.M. and 2:30 P.M. 1. Medal play, 36 holes. 2. Practice rounds permitted Friday, May 17th. Dual competition may be arranged this year. Iowa State meets Nebraska. 3. Four men constitute a team (enter and play four only). 4, Individual and team championships decided. 5. No winter golf (play as they lie). 6. Ceddies furnished by host school and charged to the meet. 7, Dressing facilities provided at the Club. 8. Send records, publicity and pictures, please, 9. Pairings will be made Friday night in Student Union Building after banquet. (Threesomes) TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS Drawings: Lincoln Hotel, 9:u0 P.M., Tuursday, May 16th. Play 9:00 A.M. Friday. Entries: Send as soon as possible. + Method of Conducting Championships: The Conference rules still provide for the playing of four ranking singles and two ranking doubles tournaments. Each match won will score one point toward the team score through- out the tournament. Forfeits will score same 4s wins. A team draw- ing a bye in the first round will be awarded a point for such a bye provided its player wins his second round match. Bulls: Wright & Ditson balls will be used. New balls end of second set. All matches two out of three. Courts: We have six clay courts, so that given a break in weather should be down to semi-finals or finals Friday night. In the event of rain, we will play the matches on the main floor of the Coliseum. (Two courts) Teams: School may compete four players only.
