Gentlemen:

The Track and Field Championships, Tennis Cuampionships and Golf
Championships of the Big Six Conference are scheduled for Lincoln, May 17th
and 18th. I will appreciate immediate mailing of entries, publicity, and
pictures for use in the program and by the press.

Dean Thompson joins me in urging you and your staff to try to
arrange your plans to get here Thursday for an early start on visiting,

golf, etc., so that you may get the maximum recreation and relaxation from
vour trip,

The following program is suggested for your approval:
CONFERENCE MEETINGS
THURSDAY

Directors - 8:00 P.M. - Lincoln Hotel. Time of Friday or Saturday
meetings to be agreed upon at this time.

FRIDAY
Directors as agreed upon Thursday evening - Lincoln Hotel
Business Managers - 10:00 A.M. - Lincoln Hotel
Track Coaches ~ 11:30 A.M. - Lincoln Hotel. Lunch will be served.

Basketball Coaches, if here, immediately after the Big Six dinner.
Student Union Building.

SATURDAY
Meetings of various groups as previously agreed upon.
STAFF GOLF TOURNAMENT

As in past years, a golf tournament for all Faculty Representatives,
Directors and staff members will be held extending over the period of the
meeting. This will be held on the course of the Lincoln Country Club and as
our guests. Dress in your hotel or at the Club. Prizes--of course--for a
varied assortment of qualifications and performances.

FRIDAY EVENING DINNER

The University of Nebraska will be host at a dinner for all Faculty
Representatives, Directors and staff members on Friday evening, May 17th, at
6:50 P.M. at the Student Union Building. All members of your starf are
cordiaily invited to attend.
