Below are described a few of then. oe we ee ee ee ee ee oe ee ee KANSAS -— KANSAS STATE TEST GAMES For several years it has been the practice of the University of Kansas and the Kanscs State College to play an exchange of games before the Chrisim.s vacation. Since these contests do not count in the conference standing of the two teams, they lend them- sclvés recdily to cxperimentcl tests for rule changes, Dre Fs C. Allen, coach ct Kansas, cnd Frank Root, coach at Kansas Statc, have agrecd on the test of a scrics of proposed changes to be tried in these two games. Definite dates have not yet been sct. They will be given in the next bulletin. Detailed announcements of the changes are to be sent toa large group of officials and coachcs in the Missouri Valley section and many are expected to attend to witness the tricls as well as to sit in on the discussion which will follow. Spectators will be handed questionnaires so thet opinions may be registered. Studcnts who are majoring in coaching courscs will take complcte charts of the games. The results of all of these will be reported in the January bulletin. A short resume of the changes to be tested are: 1. The goals shall be TVELVE FEET high and the black- boards shall be placed SIX FEET from the endlines. 2. Ficld goals will count THREE POINTS and frecthrows will count ONE POINT.
