Thank you for sending a copy of your fine letter
to Craig Ruby. I had already written to Major Griffith
and have received permission from him to use any or all
of the pictures in the Guide, As you know, we have found it
difficult to get pictures which it is safe to use; that is,
most of our pictures open the way to more controversy than
they settle. Ruby's pictures strike me as being remarkably
free from such objections.

It seems to me that it would be well for the
special committee of which you are chairman to submit
these as part of your report to the National Committee.
