Business meetings to be held mornings, nights and Saturday afternoon, .
Thursday and Friday afternoon for sightseeing (cars furnished) and golf tournament,
Banquet (with entertainment) Friday night, Basketball exhibitions (20-minute ses-
sions) on Thursday and Friday nights, Pittsburgh and Illinois Wesleyan have ac~
cepted, Kentucky and possibly an outstanding team from the Atlantic Coast will ac-
cept. Members will be admitted free to exhibitions which will be held in Atlanta
Athletic Club gym,

Bring your golf clubs, East Lake Country Club (Bobby Jonest home course)
will be at your disposal, <A tournament (with prizes) will be open to members with
handicaps applying, If sufficient number of ladies present, will put on bridge
tournament, Bring her along, We hope the “Sunny South" will be sunny at that time,

Sightseeing tours will be given (no charge) to all attendants and their
families, Tours will cover Atlanta and include Stone Mountain and Federal Penitentiar

Reservations; There are three first class hotels within one block of the
Atlanta Athletic Club at which the following rates have been allowed: Single--
$2.50, $3.00, $3,50, $4,00; Double--twin beds $5.00 and $6,00, The Winecoff, Ansley,
and Piedmont Hotels are the city's best and comfortable accommodations may be expect}
ed, All of the rooms with either shower or tub or combination shower and tub, If
you will write Roy Mundorff, Georgia Tech, expressing your desires as to rooms, num-
ber in party, etc,, he will take care of your reservation; or you may deal with any
of the hotels directly, Upon your arrival in Atlanta go to the Athletic Club where
an information booth will be at your service,

Transportation rates; It has been the custom for this organization te appl
for rail rates which offer a round trip fare for one and one-third one-way fare,
This was contingent upon one hundred fifty tickets being sold, In recent years we
have been unable to sell the necessary number and hence there were no rates available,
This plan has been kmown as the "straight certificate" plan, Another plan is known ©
as the “identification” method, This, before effective, must be investigated by the
various passenger associations in the country and will be granted if the opinion of
these associations is that approximately two hundred tickets could be sold, From
past experience you can see that the railroads would turn down our application for
the “identification" method, However, we have the railreads! agreement to allow us
the "straight certificate" plan (fare and one-third) provided we get one hundred
tickets, This I think ean be done, Suppose we lack twenty or thirty of the required
number, This may be unethical, but we oan purchase these twenty or thirty tickets
from some point near Atlanta so that the rate may be effective, So let each one of
us be sure to get a certificate at time of purchasing railroad ticket, If all of us
cooperate, I think we will get the required one hundred,

Be sure to be present, This meeting will be one that you will regret mis-
sing. "See the South in its shining glory" (Chamber of Commerce), It will be Easter
and vacation time so make the most of it, If at all possible, Bobby Jones will be
present,
