Superbombers Power Over Huskies, 4/-6 ‘SPOKANE (Wash.) Nov. 18.| (U.P)—The 2nd Airforce football team defeated the University of Washington Huskies, 47 to 6, at Gonzaga Stadium here this after- noon, Spectacular runs by Bill Pren- _ tice, ex-Santa Clara fullback, and Ray Evans, former -University of ates half, gave the Super- ombers six of their seven touch- downs, each of the two scoring -three ‘tallies. Susie scored the other Airforce touchdown on an 8-yard plunge. Slow Start ‘In the first few minutes of play, Prentice pushed over the only Airforce tally in the first period and Susoeff converted. Evans ran a Husky punt 75 yards for the only Superbomber tally in the second quarter. In the third period Evans scored: on two spectacular runs —the first 39 yards and the sec- ond 76 yards. Susoeff converted on the first but missed the sec- ond. After another long third- quarter drive, Prentice plunged to score and a few minutes later ran 47 yards for another tally. Susoeff kicked both points. Early in the fourth period the Huskies rallied for their only score, which Left End Roderick accomplished in a clever double reverse and end. around, fol- lowed by his 61-yard dash to pay dirt.
