K. U. broke into the Roto Gravure Section of the Wash-
ington Sunday Star yesterday in a big way as witness

the enclosed. On the theory that this partioular use

of the pictures would not otherwise reach the University,
I am sending the pages to you.

As one who had very helpful and pleasant association with
Dr. Naismith some 30 years ago I eam more than delighted to
see him get this nation=wide recognition for his fine
contribution to college sports.

I am still hoping that the time will come when I can drop
in at Lawrence during the collegiate year.
