I do not lnow whether this late letter will oateh

up with you or not. Your letter was misplaced in a pile of

aorrespondence regarding the basketball gambling expose, and
I did not pull At out of the file soon enough.

Thank you for the Fitchburg, Mess. clipping. It
is nice of the Sportfolio editor to want me as sormissioner, ©
but I would not be interested in that. I em only interested
in helping to get a very strong man, like Douglas MacArthur,
J. Edgar Hoover or Tom Dewey. Our athletics would be mish
more on the up and up if we had one of these strong characters
administering the office.
