Dear George:

Bob Schwanzle had a failure in physical training on
account of his utter failure to attend classes. Schaake

stated that he did not show up at all. He wrote to the Regise _
trar's Office from Great Lakes wanting the failure removed

from his Navy record. I would help him if I could, but he did .
little to help himself. I just wanted you to be informed as ..
to the program, of Bob's ovm failure to do well by himself.

He just talked by everybody, but his record finally caught up
with him. I think Bob is a good boy, but from what the hos- —
pital authorities tell me he is a very _ talker, especially
when his interests are involved.

I haven't heard any more about Mimi but we are
anxiously awaiting the best reports. With all good wishes
