Dear Dr. Smith,

On November 29 I wrote to you asking for two tickets for the
Sugar Bowl game. Since that time, Mr. C.B. Russell, Mayor of
the city of Lawrence, has asked me to write to you and if pos-
sible, secure for him two more tickets for this great Galle.

I hate to bother you, but Mr. Russell is a very good friend and
is quite desirous of attending the game.

I would appreciate. hearing from you as soon as possible regarding
the cost of the tiokets and the liklihood of my obtaining four of
them. —
