NATIONAL COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION At the 1941 convention it will be moved that Article III of the Constitution be revised as follows: ARTICLE III Declaration of Sound Principles and Practices for Intercollegiate Athletics* Intercollegiate athletics should be conducted upon sound principles and with a proper understanding of their relation- ship to the educational functioning of the college or university, in order to constitute an important and useful adjunct of un- dergraduate life and training. This association believes that the minimum standards specified in this article are essential to ‘ita conduct of intercollegiate athletics upon sound prin- ciples. Section 1. Amateurism.
