PORTER BROWN, M.D. MISS FRANCIS BERTSCHE, B. S., TECHNICIAN GEO. E. STAFFORD, M, D, SUITE 408 FARMERS UNION BLDG. Salina, ‘Kansas September 26, 1938 Dr. F. G. Allen, Lawrence, Kansas. Dear Phog: I have asked our son to come directly to you concerning the matter of acquiring four tickets to the Kansas—Oklahoma football game October 15th. The reason is that the last time he got tickets for us they were in the end zone on a day when there were not many people at the game, and we did not like it. I believe that some clerk in the department misunderstood the situation, and while I do not expect to have any par- ticular favoritism, I also do not expect to be put clear down at the end, especially on a day when there are not many people in attendance. I therefore would feel it a personal favor if you would supervise this business your- self and see that these tickets are all right. Two of them are for Dr. and Mrs. Kline of Dodge City who will be with us, and two for Mrs. Nelson and me. I suspect I am entitled to some consideration because of my K, but if that places me away out of line to see the game well I would disregard. I am sending Lawrence a blank check so that he will vay you whetever the toll happens to be. Thanking you kindly for the trouble of taking care of this for me, and hoping that I may do some little thing for you some day, again, I am, as ever, Sincerely, % L. S. Nelson, M. D. LSN:D
