Dear "Phog";

_ I am writing you this letter to confirm our telephone
conversation of this morning to request your permission to use
the Kansas University Swimming Pool for the Lawrence Boy Scouts.

If possible, we would like to have the pool on
Friday evenings starting at about /:40. It is our understanding
that we will have to furnish the supervision for the boys. Dr.
Franz and Mr. Mahlon Ball and his son have agreed to take charge
of the supervision.

T would ee it if you would check your calendar
and advise me if the above arrangement is agreeable. Your early
reply will be appreciated.
