Dear Mr.Allen: While on my vacation I read in the K.C.Star the account
of the death pf your Father. I did not know of his prolonged illness
as we have been rather out of touch with the family. His numerous
friends at Shammee will miss him as we always enjoyed visiting with
him and valued his friendship.

Pat and I are looking forward to a good football season at K.U.
this season. May I trouble you to secure two season tickets for us,
on the West side as usual.i¥ill leave the choice to you. My check in
