Dear Phog:-

I looked into the matter of your appointment on the
Basketball Rules Committee, securing my information from
Dean Nicolson, Secretary to the National Collegiate group.

His letter in part is as follows: 'T find no error
in the proceedings of Mr. Allen's appointment to the
Basketball Rules Committee. He was first appointed to the
committee in December 1932.to serve for four years."

As I see it; your first four year appointment ter-
minated at the end of 1936. Your next term of four years
began with the year of 1937 and should terminate, inclu-
sive of the year of 1940. Believe this will clarify the
situation for you.

Congratulations on winning the Big 6 basketball |
championship. I know that your team will be right ;
up there for the succeeding years also.
