This will confirm my telephone conversation with you
this morning. I am today recommending to our deen of the
School of Education and the Chancellor your temporary appoint-
ment in our department at a salary of $2250.00 for the
academic year 1942-'43.

I am expecting to be in Wichita the middle of next
week and would like to have a talk with youe I have some
other appointments there, and may be busy until 5 or 4 o'clock.
However, I will get in touch with you by phone.
