Dear Dr. Allen:

I have today received notification from President W. M.
Jardine, University of Wichita, that "It is all right for you
to go to the University of Kansas and there are no ill feelings”,
I appreciate your waiting the announcement of my acceptance and
appointment at Kansas University until I cleared matters at
Wichita.

I shall be pleased: to hear from you regarding plans for
our next Fall's program at K.U. I believe you have my itinerary
umtil August 29. I shall be at the Aquatic Scheol, Colorado
College until July 15.

It was impossible for me to contact “Frosty"™ Cox at
Golorado University during my visit there. If there are
others you would like to have me contact dlong my itinerary,
I should be glad to meet them.

Mrs. Morehouse and I are locking forward to moving to
Lawrence. As.she is an active Pi Phi alum, University Dame,
P.E.0, and Bridge Bnthusiast, I do no& imagine it will take
long for her tc become acquainted.

Ed Blbel has not yet written about his plans for
moving his family to St. Louis. He had reaced no decision .
on this matter when I talked with him in St. Louis.

I have about 5 ton of books and other materials as
you probably noticed while visiting my office at Wichita,
Will I have svace for it all at my office at K.U.% If not,
I can store some of it.
