‘Thank you very much for loaning the benches
to Corbin nall for their Christmas Revels,

I regret that it was not possible to return
them as promptly as you requested, but Fdgar sprained
hie back lifting them and was unable to return them
this morning. Since the buildings and Grounds office
could give me no assurance of when they could return
them, called the Lawrence Transfer Co, I trust
they arrived in good condition and not too late for
your classes,
