Harman Co-op is a cooperative house for 25 college women who wish to share household duties and main- tain low living costs. Interested candidates should write the Office of the Adviser of Women for complete information. Eleven sororities maintain houses for women stu- dents. Membership is by invitation only. Information about sorority life may be secured from the Pan- Hellenic Secretary, Room 228, Frank Strong Hall. OTHER EXPENSES Books and supplies will cost around $20-$40 a year for most Kansas students. In Law and Medicine the books are more expensive. Medical attention, including room and board for ordinary hospital cases, is covered by the health fee. Expenses for extra meals, laundry, clothing, railroad fare, social activities, amusements, religious interests, etc., will vary with the individual as they do in the home communities.
