finding a profitable field for their operations in college sport, that
these manipulators are cagey and unscrupulous, that at least some youthful
athletes are vulnerable, and that serious trouble is a real possibility
unless intelligent and energetic efforts are made to prefent it. Therefore,
let's see to it that the N.C.A.A. brings this situation under control, and
keeps it there.
