Since 1927 the Menmcrial Union Building has soen a gradual growth both in
completion of physical structure of the building and in use as a contor

of all phases of student social life. In it is being realized tho alroady
widely accopted trond toward irformal oducation.e Since it is recognized
that the Union Building is the nost important laboratory for infcrnal
education, an additional stcp was taken to include even wider intcrest in
outside activitics, Tho Union Operating Comittee was further divided
into a socond sub-comittce knowm as the Union Activities Board. This
Board is composed of the following student monbers:

The Student Union Activities Board was formed in March 1938 and
