Dear Doc:

Looks like the powers that be will not make e move
in the direction of basketball until the September meeting . It
may be just as well, since any earlier commitments would probably
have to be changes considerably. However, I don't believe it would
interfere too much with the conference schedule when it is made
should the schools decide to schedule a few Service teams in advace. —

    

Sorry I can't give vou any definite information about
the Woerner boy from Central. I don't even remember what he looks
like now. I do know that they had a very mediocre team and that
Cramer was most of the show; he played center. This other boy may
have been fair but certainly not very good or I would have been
more impressed with his play.

Spent tant cee in Chicago and Milwaukee after school
stegn7 chee llth. of June. Since that time I have been pretty busy
with my gardend@ and yard; have managed to play golf about twice a
week. Better come down and try some of these easy courses. Visited
with the Son while in Milwaukee. He is in the Army Air Corps and ig
due to be sent to Santa Ana California in about a week. He is really —
hepped-up on this flying; I hop@ he doesn't get washed out later One es
