Dear Dr. Peete:

I have just finished talking to Mrs. McSpadden and she was
very happy indeed to hear from me because the Trotsells felt pretty
much hurt about the matter. I have asked Mrs. MeSpadden to write
you because she can perhaps give you a better picture than I can.
I have never met the Trotselle and for that reason I am further re-
moved from the situation than Mrs. Molyadaan.

lire. MoSpadden slso says that she is going to stop in to see
you some time soon when she is in Kansas City.

From all reports that I get from Mrs. McSpadden, apparently —
an awkward situation was presented, but nobody blames you one iota
for the thing that happened. It is just one of those situations.

I explained to Mrs. MoeSpadden that your technician had asked to be
relieved of her work but due to the scarcity of trained technicians
she had been asked to stay on, and the fact that she had worked
under pressure doubtless accounted for her lack of proper inhibitions
when the Trotsell's came.
