Attached is the bid of The J. E. Porter Corporation on the aparatus that your
department has requested bids one

In talking with Mr. Kanehl it was his idea that we bid on the two weights of
gym mats and also several types of the Horizontal Bars, and this will account
for what may appear to be en awful lot of eqhipment, for I have quoted on four
types of Bars and four types of mats along with two kinds of Climbing Ropes,
cotton and jute.

With reference to the platforms for the springboards that you have on hand I do
not have eny information at hand but will ask the factory to write you and edvise
the price, provided we can furnish, I feel that we can in either case they will
notify you in regards to this.

Sorry that I missed you, but shall look forward to the next trip into Lawrence
and will try end see you then, thanks for the opportunity to present the Porter
bid on the equipment, should there be any question please let me lmow.
